Suva offers a vibrant and culturally rich experience, with colonial architecture, bustling local markets, and a strong sense of everyday island life.

The city centre is just a 5 to 10-minute walk from the port, making it easy to explore nearby attractions or join a well-planned half-day tour. With a moderate number of passengers, the experience remains comfortable and manageable throughout the visit.

Everything ran on time and the port operations were handled professionally. Getting into Suva city was straightforward, and the local atmosphere was welcoming. The only drawback was the limited duration in port, which made it hard to explore beyond the main centre.

A very well-organised port call with efficient disembarkation and clear instructions from the crew. Suva itself was lively and easy to navigate from the port area. The markets and waterfront were enjoyable, although the schedule felt a bit tight for relaxed sightseeing.

The arrival into Suva on Oceania Riviera was smooth and well handled, with a calm docking process and easy movement off the ship. The port is conveniently close to the city, which made exploring simple without needing long transfers. The only limitation was the short time ashore, which didn’t allow for a deeper look around.

Despite the limited time, the entire experience felt relaxed and complete.

The highlight of our day was a quick escape to the lush Colo-i-Suva Forest Park — a refreshing contrast to the city, with its greenery, waterfalls, and calm surroundings.
